It is a place in the Process where activities can be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>performed concurrently, rather than sequentially. There are two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Multiple Outgoing Sequence Flows can be used (see figure top-right). This represents \u201cuncontrolled\u201d flow is the preferred method for most situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 A Parallel Gateway can be used (see figure bottom-right). This will be used rarely, usually in combination with other Gateways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O BPMN usa o termo \u201cbifurca\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d para se referir \u00e0 divis\u00e3o de um caminho em dois ou mais caminhos paralelos (tamb\u00e9m conhecido como Split AND). \u00c9 um lugar no processo em que as atividades podem ser executadas simultaneamente, em vez de sequencialmente.
